The Colorado Avalanche announced today that center Nathan MacKinnon will miss at least the next 2-4 weeks with an upper-body injury. MacKinnon was injured in Colorado's game on Tuesday.

The Edmonton Oilers and Leon Draisaitl have agreed to an eight-year deal worth $68 million today. The 21 year-old center netted 29 goals, 48 assists, and 77 points last season with Edmonton.
