Romona Shelburne of ESPN has reported that the Oklahoma City Thunder will acquire Paul George from the Indiana Pacers. Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sobonis will head to the Pacers with no picks involved.
George, a free agent after the season, has been linked to the Los Angeles Lakers when he becomes a free agent next season. His new teammate defending NBA MVP Russell Westbrook is also linked to the Lakers. It could be a one year rental, but that is unknown for sure at this point.
The Minnesota Timberwolves have traded guard Ricky Rubio to the Utah Jazz for a 2018 first-round pick. The first round pick will be from the Oklahoma City Thunder in which Utah holds the rights.
Breaking in the early hours of Wednesday morning the New York Knicks confirmed multiple reports that Phil Jackson and the club parted ways.
MSG Executive Chairman Jim Dolan and Phil Jackson announced today that, after discussing the future of the New York Knicks, they have mutually agreed to part company. Mr. Jackson is leaving his post as President of Basketball Operations, effective immediately.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, the Los Angles Clippers will trade Chris Paul to the Houston Rockets as Paul will agree to the final year on his contract. In return the Los Angles Clippers will acquire Patrick Beverley, Sam Decker, Lou Williams, and a 2018 first round pick with 1-3 protection rights.

The Brooklyn Nets have made it official announcing they have acquired D'Angelo Russell and Timofey Mozgov from the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Brook Lopez and the draft rights to Kyle Kuzma.

Jimmy Butler is off to Minnesota in a deal that reunites Butler with T-Wolves head coach Tom Tihibodeau.
Chicago will receive Zach LaVine, Kris Dunn, and the rights to Lauri Markkanen (7th overall selection). Minnesota will receive Butler and the draft rights to Justin Patton (16th overall selection).
This is a very big get for Minnesota who now has the potential to make some noise out west. Butler immediately gives them a solid option on offense and also a great defender.

According to Marc J. Spears of ESPN's The Undefeated, the Atlanta Hawks have agreed to trade center Dwight Howard to the Charlotte Hornets.
Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical later gave the details. The Atlanta Hawks send Dwight Howard and the 31st pick to the Charlotte Hornets for Marco Belinelli, Miles Plumlee, and the 41st pick.
