The Philadelphia 76ers announced Markelle Fultz will miss at least the next 2-3 weeks as he deals with shoulder problems.

Philadelphia 76ers guard Markelle Fultz was examined and evaluated today by Dr. Ben Kibler, Medical Director of the Shoulder Center of Kentucky at the Lexington Clinic, for the soreness and scapular muscle imbalance that he has been experiencing in his right shoulder. The soreness is dissipating and the muscle balance is improving, and Fultz will continue with physiotherapy and begin progressing toward full basketball activities. Fultz will be re-evaluated in approximately two to three weeks. His return to gameplay will be determined by how the shoulder responds to progressive basketball training and practices in the interim.
The NBA announced today that Milwaukee Bucks head coach Jason Kidd has been fined $15,000 for public criticism of officiating. Kidd made his comments after the Bucks lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday.

The New York Knicks will be without Kristaps Porzingis in a matchup against the Orlando Magic. Porzingis has a sprained left ankle and a contused right elbow. It is unknown how much time he will miss, but the Knicks will miss his scoring and defensive will tonight.
In 10 games this season Porzingis is averaging 30 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game. He is currently second in the NBA in scoring and his play has put the Knicks in a position that really wasn't expected.
It is unknown at this time who will replace Porzingis in the starting lineup.
The Cleveland Cavaliers announced today that center Tristan Thompson will be out at least the next 3-to-4 weeks after an MRI confirmed a left calf strain. Thompson left Wednesday night's game against the Indiana Pacers with the injury, After the game Thompson was seen on crutches.
In seven games this season Thompson is averaging 4.7 points and 6.3 rebounds.
The San Antonio Spurs announced Kawhi Leonard (right quad), Tony Parker (left quad), and Joffrey Lauvergne (right ankle sprain) will all miss tomorrow night's game versus the Golden State Warriors.
Memphis Grizzlies head coach David Fizdale announced announced during his pregame that guard Mike Conley will not play tonight due to a sore left Achilles.
Conley is averaging 17.3 points in seven games with the Grizzlies this season.
The San Antonio Spurs announce that point guard Tony Parker has been assigned to the Austin Spurs. Parker continues to recover from left quadriceps tendon surgery.
The Houston Rockets will be without forward Trevor Ariza for at least the next three games as he recovers from a left foot sprain. He suffered the injury on Monday against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Additionally, Nene will miss tonight's game against the Philadelphia 76ers with left Achilles soreness. His status going forward is listed as day-to-day.
It was a strong showing for the Boston Celtics Monday night. With the newly Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward making their team debuts, Boston came out with poise on offense and made some great defensive plays as well.
Irving played just 19 minutes in this game, but had some nice plays for Boston. In the first quarter Irving dunked twice, which is the total he had all of last season. He also had two steals, four rebounds, and three assists.
Hayward scored five points and grabbed five rebounds in his team debut.
Dwight Howard also made his team debut for the Charlotte Hornets. He would have a solid 22 minutes of action scoring 7 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. The Hornets would have a great game from Jeremy Lamb, who led all scorers with 17 points in 19 minutes.
Boston would defeat Charlotte 94-82 for their first preseason victory.
